CITY OF JEFFERSON

TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

SAFE ROUTES TO SCHOOL PROGRAM and TRANSPORTATION ALTERNATIVES (SRTS/TA)

The City of Jefferson will hold a public hearing at 5:05 pm on Tuesday, August 5th, 2019, at the City of Jefferson City Hall, 102 N. Polk St., regarding the submission of an application to the Texas Department of Transportation for the Safe Routes to Schools Program/Transportation Alternatives (SRTS/TA) funds. The City encourages citizens to participate in the development of this TxDOT application and to make their views known at this public hearing. Citizens unable to attend this meeting may submit their views and proposals to the attention of Doris Hines, City Secretary.
This meeting will be conducted in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The facility is wheelchair accessible and disabled parking is available. Requests for sign interpretive services will be available with at least a 48-hour notice prior to the meeting.
