Notice is hereby given that a Meeting of the Jefferson City Council will be held on August 20, 2019, at 5:30 pm at the Jefferson City Hall located at 102 N. Polk Street, Jefferson, Texas, at which time the subjects to be discussed or considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as listed below. Items do not have to be taken in the order shown on the meeting notice. Unless removed for the consent agenda, items identified with the consent agenda will be acted on at one time.

Public Comments – Limited to Citizens and Business Owners of the City of Jefferson, must sign up in advance on the list located near the door of the Council Chambers and must limit to 3-minute conversation. Jefferson City Council may ask questions but shall not discuss items that are not on the agenda. On a subject that is not posted on the agenda a person may add an item to a future City Council Agenda by contacting the City Administrator a minimum of 5 days prior to a regular City Council Meeting.

e. Consider and/or approve revised Special Event Application for Jefferson Antique Tractor Show on September 20-21, 2019
f. Consider and/or approve Resolution for City’s bank depositary Agreement with Vera Bank to have a Commencement date of September 1, 2019 for a term of 2 years with signatories to be the City Council Members, City Secretary and Mayor
g. Consider and/or approve Jefferson Economic Development Budget for Fiscal Year 10/1/19-9/30/20
h. Consider and/or approve an application for a sign permit for Christus Champion EMS at 206 North Vale Street.
i. Consider and/or approve building permit application for Eric Carter at 203 N. Polk
j. Consider and/or approve building permit application for Charles “Bubba” Haggard at 1101 S. Line
k. Consider and/or approve building permit application for Gary Amburn at 611 N. Alley Street
l. Consider and/or approve a petition to declare a portion of Bridge Street abandoned and closed and to convey to the adjourning property owners

6. EXECUTIVE SESSION
The Jefferson City Council reserves the right to adjourn into Executive Session at any time during the course of this meeting to discuss any of the matters listed above, as authorized by Texas Government Code
