SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING

TUESDAY, AUGUST 30, 2022 @ 6:15 P.M.

 

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Jefferson City Council will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 6:15 PM at the Transportation Center at 305 E. Austin Street, Jefferson, Texas, at which time the subjects to be considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as listed below.  Items do not have to be taken in the order shown on the meeting notice.  Unless removed from the consent agenda, items identified with the consent agenda will be acted on at one time.

Public Comments – Limited to citizens and business owners of the City of Jefferson, must sign up in advance on the list and must limit to 3 minutes conversation.  Jefferson City Council may ask questions but shall not discuss items that are not on the agenda.  On a subject that is not on the agenda a person may add an item to a future City Council Agenda by contacting City Hall a minimum of 5 days prior to a regular City Council Meeting

 

5. PROCLAMATION – Paddlefish (Polyodon Spathula) as the official fish of Jefferson, Texas

a. Consider, discuss and/or approve changing the October 5, 2022 Special Council meeting to a different date due to conflict with the approved National Night Out event.

b. Consider, discuss and/or approve Joe McDonnell’s Building permit (105 S. Vale) (Tabled from 11/16/2021 meeting agenda)

c. Consider, discuss and/or approve Joe McDonnell’s proposal to buy property from the city (Dallas St Right of Way; 10’ X 62.16) (Tabled from 11/16/2021 meeting agenda)

d. Consider, discuss and/or approve building permit application for Kathy Torrans at 701 N. Alley (Tabled from 7/20/21 meeting agenda)

e. Consider, discuss and/or approve budget amendment transfers in the Police Department Fund for previously approved expenditures:

1. $6,100.00 from 01-5000-73-00 Payroll to 01-5040-73-00 Uniforms

2. $40,550.00 from 01-5000-73-00 Payroll to 01-5130-73-00 Materials & Minor Equipment

3. $14,500.00 from 01-5825-73-00 Vehicle Capital Outlay to 01-5650-73-00 Camera
