BID ACCEPTANCE DEADLINE AND BID OPENING

FOR THE NATURE PARK TRAIL REPAIRS

TRANSPORTATION CENTER

TUESDAY, APRIL 30, 2024 @ 3:00 P.M.

 

Notice is hereby given that a meeting to conduct the opening of bids on the nature park repairs will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Transportation Center at 305 E. Austin Street, Jefferson, Texas, at which time the subjects to be considered or upon which any formal action may be taken are as listed below.  Items do not have to be taken in the order shown on the meeting notice.  Unless removed from the consent agenda, items identified with the consent agenda will be acted on at one time.

 

AGENDA

  1. BID Review

This meeting is to open and review bids that were submitted by contractors and were received by noon on Tuesday, April 30, 2024 for the following work to be done:

The City of Jefferson will receive bid proposals from potential contractors to repair 532 ft of crushed granite trails X 10 ft wide.  90 feet of severely eroded trail is included for fill and compaction.  Where necessary, existing fabric is to be removed.  Crushed granite 0.75 inches in diameter and down is to be spread and rolled to a depth of 2 inches.  Trail embankments are to be modified to better channel runoff to an existing culvert.

Sealed proposals are due at City Hall, 305 E Austin St., Jefferson. TX, no later than Noon on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.  Opening and selection of the winning proposal will occur at City Hall on April 30th at 3:00 PM.  Email submissions will not be accepted.

Polk Street, a place readily accessible to the general public at all times, on this the 9th day of April 2024, at 1:00 pm. and remained to posted for at least 72 continuous hours preceding the scheduled time of said meeting.
